Free WH-347 Excel template, current January 2025 layout

I built this blank workbook for contractors who want a clear place to prepare a federal weekly report. Enter your email to get the template, then complete it from your payroll records.

What the template includes

The WH-347 sheet follows the January 2025 columns: 1A to 1E identify the worker, column 2 records J or RA status and level, column 3 records classification, and columns 4 to 9 record daily hours, rates, fringe totals, earnings, deductions and net pay. There is no worker address or SSN field.

Header fields identify the business, project, payroll week and wage determination. Formulas total entered hours and deductions and subtract deductions from all work gross pay. Enter zero explicitly for deductions that do not apply.

The Statement of Compliance

The second sheet contains the official DOL declaration wording and spaces for apprentice and fringe facts, remarks and signing. Every declaration starts unselected. A typed value in a spreadsheet is not PaidReady electronic signing.

Read the current DOL instructions and download the official form.

Form WH-347, OMB 1235-0008, expires 01/31/2028. Template by PaidReady, paidready.com.

Who it is for

A contractor or bookkeeper preparing occasional federal reports can use this as a reporting aid. Keep the original payroll records and confirm the recipient accepts your report format.

What a spreadsheet does not check

This workbook does not check rates against a wage determination or establish fringe credit. PaidReady adds review against the selected wage version and flags findings before you sign. Your team records applicability and reviews the findings. PaidReady does not replace your payroll provider.

Federal WH-347 is supported today. California DIR eCPR export is in beta; other state portal exports are planned. Check coverage and start with your first signed WH-347 free.
